Linux & Cloud Ops

Linux fleets, bare-metal hypervisors and OCI infrastructure: patching with zero unplanned downtime, capacity and provisioning.

SRE & Automation

SLOs, on-call and incident response. Python and Bash to remove toil, clear runbooks, and changes shipped with canary and rollback.

Security

DevSecOps mindset: least privilege, credential hygiene, hardening and vulnerability remediation. Preparing for CCSK.

Homegrown

This site is my lab

hack-core.com runs on a Raspberry Pi 4 with Docker, Nginx and Let's Encrypt, published through a Cloudflare Tunnel because my ISP blocks ports 80 and 443. Every error I fixed to get it online is written up as a case study.

Freelance In development Oracle Cloud

From paper notebooks to the cloud: tracking ~3,500 slot machines

A casino logged every cash collection by hand in notebooks. With my team we're building an OCI platform that captures each collection's machine ID, location, operator, amount and date. My part: all of the infrastructure, networking, database and its security.
